The Duck Creek Policy Architect is responsible for designing and implementing policy administration solutions using Duck Creek Technologies in Property & Casualty Insurance Domain. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, developing system architecture, and ensuring the integration and performance of the Duck Creek platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Duck Creek products, insurance industry practices, and software development principles.
Job Summary:
- Duck Creek Policy Architect will be a Duck Creek expert who carries significant experience in laying the technical roadmap for both Transformation and New implementation with defined business value results. The architect is proficient in the P&C space with his/her specialization in Duck Creek Policy and understands the Insurance landscape and organizational needs.
- Architect must possess, Good experience of Duck Creek Policy system and workflow and also a good understanding of rating, insurance rules & forms.
- Work together with Duck Creek Policy implementation team, Business units, and the rest of the Technology Leadership team to drive initiative solution designs and support in Business Growth.
- Understand advancements in the DCT Product Roadmap, Policy 7.X and V8 (DCOD SaaS), Blackbox implementation of Duck Creek, Anywhere API wrapping with Restful Service, Insight Extract Map, AMI Configuration, Consumer Offering.
- Experience working in Author, Server, Express, Forms, Rating, Batch Processing, Task Creation, Transact, & Address Validation.
- Experience in Manuscripts, Data Models, Inheritance Model and Forms
- Understanding of business, functional requirements and policy workflow of the entire application and project the client’s requirement end-to-end and execute for the development in the core areas of DCT
- Work with Client Architects to derive scalable design considering existing Enterprise Architecture, Integration through middleware, Downstream regulatory reporting.
- Own RFP Response – Gap Analysis, Estimation, Solution, Defense Calls.
- Establishes Architectural Governance and Design Best Practices to drive innovative solution designs.
- Help Aggne’s Duck Creek Practice with Capacity and Capability Development.
- Define and monitor development capacity, quality of work product, and development throughout based on the technology used and the experience of the person.
- Ensure overall quality and scalability of systems.
- Act as the technical solution expert, propose solutions to roadblocks, outline dependencies/constraints and escalate problems as appropriate, build quick POC.
- Good understanding of emerging Insurtech technology space.
- Experience in Azure cloud-based environments and services is a plus.
